Training and events

GP Choices provides structured training and professional development to salaried and self employed GPs through our Educational Evenings. We provide formal or informal development opportunities that may include mandatory training requirements identified by Darlington and County Durham NHS. Our professional development programme is determined by GPs in consultation with their peers, which ensures our programme remains both relevant and topical.

The Occupational Health arm of our service is available to provide critical Needlestick Awareness Training by a qualified and experienced Occupational Health Nurse Specialist. This training is available in-house.

Our professional development programme for salaried and self employed GPs, including our Needlestick Awareness Training are available free of charge to medical and dental practices across County Durham and Darlington.
