MANAGER GP CHOICES
Carol Hartman-Andersen
Beginning in 1971, Carol’s career with the NHS has spanned more than three decades.
Prior to managing GP Choices, she held positions in patient data and human resources. Her previous experience has shaped her commitment to client confidentiality, a critical component in the services we provide.
Carol’s NHS service was broken in 1988 when she moved to Australia and progressed her career at Tweed Heads Hospital, NSW, before returning to England and the NHS in 1989.
Working with GP Choices since 2000, Carol has garnered an intimate knowledge of the service, its clientele and their needs.
Supporting her professional experience, Carol has a Postgraduate Certificate in Managing Health Services.
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH NURSE SPECIALIST
Pauline Cranney
Pauline commenced her career with the former Durham Health Authority, occupying nursing posts at Dryburn and St Margaret’s Hospitals, Durham.
In 1989, she commenced her specialisation in occupational health, working closely with small business as a provider of occupational health strategies and solutions.
Pauline’s professional experience extends to both the private and public sectors, including tenures with several NHS Trusts and the Northumbria Police Service.
Prior to specialising in Occupational Health, Pauline also worked for 2 years in the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, in Stanmore, London specialising in the rehabilitation of spinal injuries.
Her practical experience is supported by her principal qualification, a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Nursing, Occupational Health and is complimented by a Diploma in Nursing, Theory & Practice and certificates in Nurse Teaching (ENB998), NEBOSH and Counselling.
SUPPORT STAFF
The GP Choices Manager and Occupational Health Nurse Specialist are supported administratively by a PA / Coordinator.
In addition, we maintain a team of Mentors and GP Advisors who offer professional mentoring, support and advice.
