The Occupational Health & Safety Service (OH & SS) is a comprehensive resource available to general medical and dental practices, including their staff across County Durham and Darlington.

The OH & SS is delivered by our in-house Occupational Health Nurse Specialist, which provides timely and specialist advice on all your occupational health queries.

Committed to health & wellbeing at work, the OH & SS also supports the education and promotion of health, including preventative medicines. Our portfolio of services includes:

• Occupational health and needlestick helpline;
• Workplace assessments;
• Pre employment health screenings;
• Accident investigations;
• Sickness absence referrals;
• Rehabilitation and return to work programmes; and
• Referrals to OH physicians.
