Counselling

In partnership with The Road Centre, GP Choices provides a readily accessible counselling service available to general medical and dental practices, including their staff across County Durham and Darlington.

A recognised centre for excellence, The Road Centre has assembled a strong team of counsellors that possess a unique blend of qualifications, experience and specialisms. We offer counselling and help to those experiencing the affects of physical, psychological and sexual abuse, bullying and harassment and those coping with the aftermath of trauma and accidents.

Further, The Road Centre can help primary care staff when considering important life and career decisions by helping you gather information, examine the issues and consider your options before making your decision.

Clients can self refer to the service and may access up to six (6) free counselling sessions. Counselling and therapy is provided on a one to one basis and group sessions are also available for those who would benefit from them.

The Road Centre is conveniently located in Chester le Street.
