About us

Established in 1998 and funded by the NHS County Durham and NHS Darlington, GP Choices and Occupational Health & Safety Service provides advice, support and occupational health to general medical and dental practices, including their staff, across County Durham and Darlington.

Our portfolio of services includes counselling, mentoring, occupational health, professional development, educational evenings for Salaried GPs, peer support groups and a GP Locum placement service.

A self referral service, GP Choices has built a strong reputation helping primary care workers in difficulty, providing non judgemental care, support and advice.
